Leahi Health Campus Proof of Concept Study

UHCDC is working with Hawaiʻi Health Systems Corporation to explore new development scenarios for the Leahi Hospital site to address current underutilization of spaces, the need for major capital improvements, a call for revenue generation, and a statewide demand for a spectrum of care and housing. This study will incorporate strategic stakeholder feedback, research on emerging health care models, site and existing building and infrastructure constraints, and development and design potential. The study will develop alternatives intended to support discussion about new models that support the highest use and best fit for the campus.
