UHCDC is a teaching practice that provides students with opportunities to work on public-serving projects through academic coursework, student internship, and post graduate employment.

Student Internships
UHCDC projects provide students with the opportunity to work with faculty, staff, and students from different year levels, degree programs, and disciplines on small close knit teams. Through external interactions with institutional leaders and internal collaboration with team members, students gain critical civic leadership skills and professional development experience.
NCARB/AXP
Students choosing to pursue architectural licensure through National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), can receive Architectural Experience Program (AXP) hours at UHCDC for their work under a supervising licensed professional.
